Every 4th of July finds me taking out past clients and new clients to enjoy the holiday of ‘our country’s independence’. Fishing has picked up with the advent of cleaner, clearer water from the gulf, rivers and creeks. This has been a blessing to our estuary and the environment. Bait fish are abound with other species such as Seatrouts, Jacks, Redfish, Snook, Spanish Mackerel and Ladyfish again gracing the waters of Pine Island Sound, Matlacha Pass and Charlotte Harbor in good numbers.
Pictured is Pat Noonan (originally from St. Louis, Mo.) who now resides in Bonita Springs/Naples area along with his three sons, Michael, Gregory and Christopher together at the end of the day. We had a beautiful day with a slight breeze. They finished the fishing charter with a stop at Cabbage Key to check out the ‘Cheeseburger in Paradise’. Other pictures include dad and each of the boys with one of their many catches of the day. Good to enjoy a day with people from my home state of Missouri. Thanks Pat and hope to see all of you again soon.
During the holiday, I had the opportunity to take out another new client, Mr. James Zdarko, his daughter Marina (15) and son James III (12) from Oakmont, PA. Their cousin Tina (who lives and works locally) accompanied them for a great time on the water. They all caught a variety and nice fish to say the least! Pictured are both children with very nice Redfish of their own. The family photo is of all four of them at the end of a great day prior to departing Fish Face II, at the dock on Captiva. Great job junior anglers! Looking forward to seeing all of you again next year.
