Where is the Boat show?
In the Downtown Fort Myers Historic River District, exhibits wind along the Caloosahatchee River, through Centennial Park and the newly renovated Caloosa Sound Convention Center and to the east along Edwards Drive to Lee Street.
Where is the Boat show entrance?
The main show entrance is at Bay Street & Heitman Street (Next to the Post Office) with a second entrance at Lee Street & Edwards Drive.
Is there a shuttle service?
Yes- the show has a free continuous shuttle service providing pickup and drop off at both show entrances and the Luminary Hotel. The shuttle runs from 11am – 5pm each day of the show (4pm on Sunday)
Where do I park?
- Edison Parking Garage at Monroe & Bay Street
- Florida Repertory lot at Hendry & Bay Street next (Hall of 50 Lot)
- Main Street Parking Garage at Jackson Street and Bay Street (Near Lee St. Entrance)
How much is admission?
Admission is $20 for adults and children 15 and under are free with a paid adult. Tickets are available for purchase during the show at both show entrances, but visitors are encouraged to skip the line and buy tickets online.
Can I bring my pet?
We love animals but for insurance and liability reasons, pets are not allowed.
What kind of boats are on display?
Visitors will see everything from bay boats and inshore skiffs to larger center consoles and luxurious yachts. The show includes a variety of inshore and offshore fishing boats, custom skiffs, pontoon and deck boats, high performance, sport and cruising boats—virtually every type and style a boater might enjoy in Southwest Florida. There will be approximately 40 local dealers representing 120 boat manufacturers on display.
Will there be boating accessories and other marine services?
This is far more than just a display of boats. The Caloosa Sound Convention Center is packed with engines, electronics, boat lifts, fishing equipment, apparel and marine accessories. Plus, a wide variety of service companies, marinas and shipyards that will help you get the most out of your time on the water.
Will there be any boater education?
The Marine Industries Association of Southwest Florida and Tampa Bay will host the “Know Before You Go” display which is an interactive booth featuring local captains, navigational charts, marine electronics and educational materials to help you be safe while enjoying local waterways. The display will be in the lobby of the Caloosa Sound Convention Center. A free guide with basic boating and navigation information that is a great on-board reference is available at the display.
Additionally there will be displays from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, U.S. Power Squadron and Lee County Marine Task Force inside the convention center with answers to a wide range of questions on boating safety and regulations, plus other information to help you enjoy your time on the water.
Will there be seminars?
Yes- Capt. Terry Fisher will be back covering inshore fishing, offshore fishing, knot tying, fishing tackle and answering all of your fishing questions. Marinemax will also host a Women on Water class and new owners workshop. All boating seminars can be found on the east end of the show in the Mairnemax display.
Will food and drinks be available?
You’ll find a wide variety of food and drinks available spread throughout the show. Quench your thirst at the Redfish Pub in Centennial Park and enjoy the Let’s BeeFrank Food truck with American food favorites. Next to the Yacht Basin Pub off Hendry Street, Florida’s Fine Foods features a wide variety of seafood dishes. And on the east-end of the show, Texas Tony’s will have great BBQ platters and a wide offering of beverages.
After the show, take a short walk to a variety of restaurants in vibrant downtown Fort Myers, many of which offer BOGO drink specials with your boat show coupon!
