TERRY FISHING REPORT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This month is a good month to target inshore species such as Redfish. The tides are higher than normal due to the \u2018Super\u2019 Moon phase which creates strong gravitational pull moving waters higher than those of most months except during the late springtime when \u2018Hill\u2019 Tides during Tarpon Season.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>My charters have had good success for Redfish, Snook and Seatrouts inshore around the mangrove islands, oyster beds, docks and grass flats. There is a lot of \u2018white\u2019 bait (Pilchards) out there for cast netting. The caveat is that one needs a vessel that will go 40 plus miles offshore from the outer islands of Sanibel and Captiva to 140-160 ft. of water to catch them. Myers Boat Show will be held next month with fishing seminars downtown outside of the convention center November 13-16.
