Myers Boat Show Fishing Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mid and late October fishing proved to be somewhat better than I actually expected, given my comments on my latest report. One may recall, I mentioned many fishing guides<i> <\/i>presented dismal accounts of inshore catches and I was concerned that my luck would run out. Nonetheless, I was fortunate to find and catch a variety of species, including Redfish at some of the more productive, pre-hurricane (Irma) locations.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Once again I had the pleasure of taking Martin Smith, his wife Mandy, her sister Cindy and brother-in-law Rob Emmerich all of Cape Coral, on their annual Redfish adventure. Martin is pictured with a small Cobia while Mandy is pictured with her Redfish. Cindy is also pictured with a Redfish, while husband Rob displays the biggest Seatrout of the day. Lots of fish were caught. It turned out to be a beautiful day on the water with some of my favorite people. John Whitehead of Windsor arranged the charter via my professional fisherman friend, Gino Mascarin of Thunder Bay, Canada. John is pictured with one of two Redfish he landed. His friends, Dave and Paul are from the Toronto area, while Pete hails from London, Canada. Paul and Pete are pictured with Redfish, while Dave poses with a big Spanish Mackerel. This charter was on October 28, the day the tropical<i> <\/i>storm approached from the southwest and headed up the east coast. Even though it brought lots of rain and we all got soaked, we caught a bounty full of fish!
