\nThe boat show is located on the north end of Port Charlotte at the Charlotte County Fairgrounds. 2333 El Jobean Road (Route 776), Port Charlotte, FL 33948. About 3 miles west of U.S. 41. Across the street from the Charlotte County Sports Complex (Spring Training site of the Tampa Bay Rays)<\/p>\n

\nAdmission is just $5 for adults and kids 15 and under get in free! There is also plenty of free on-site parking.<\/p>\n
What kind of boats will I find?<\/b>
\nWhile not an in-water show, the show features hundreds of boats from nearly every local dealer. Visitors will find center console fishing boats, flats boats, skiffs, deck boats, pontoon boats, family cruising boats, catamarans, and more.<\/p>\n
Is there more to see than just boats?<\/b>
\nThe Fairgrounds Expo Hall is filled with a variety of marine products and service providers including boat lifts, marine supplies, fishing tackle, clothing, sunglasses, gift items, marinas, boatyards and repair services, and financing.<\/p>\n
Plus, there are displays by the Coast Guard Auxiliary and U.S. Power Squadron with boating safety Information. Additionally at the show entrance, you will find a boating Information display by the Marine Industries Association of SWFL with lots of how-to materials and information about local boating.<\/p>\n
There are ongoing fishing seminars, sponsored by Port Charlotte\u2019s Fishin\u2019 Frank, featuring local guides that are happy to answer any questions you have about local fishing.<\/p>\n

\nYes, a variety of food and beverages will be available on site.<\/p>\n
Can I bring my pet?<\/b>
\nSorry, pets are not allowed. We are animal lovers but given the scope of the show and insurance\/liability issues, we cannot welcome pets.<\/p>\n
Who puts on this show?<\/b>
\nThe Charlotte County Boat Show is owned by the Marine Industries Association of Southwest Florida.\u00a0The association, whose membership includes virtually every boat dealer and marine related company in Southwest Florida, has protected the rights of boaters and promoted boating and the marine industry in Southwest Florida for more than 40 years. The association also owns the Bonita Springs Boat Show held at the Naples Ft. Myers Greyhound Track in February, and the Fort Myers Boat Show, held in downtown Fort Myers in November.<\/p>\n
