The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) will hold a public workshop in Sanibel to share information about and solicit comments on the proposal to designate new Critical Wildlife Areas (CWA) in Lee County.

The proposed initiative will look at Pine Island Sound and could close down some productive waters for fishing during the year or implement full time buffer zones around the islands. CCA urges you to attend the upcoming meeting and give your comments.
