Licensed Yacht Broker - Yacht Registry

Yacht Registry is  currently looking to expand our team at our Naples, Florida location.  We are seeking an experienced and licensed yacht broker with an  impressive  background  in both  new and brokerage yacht sales and having a well established  client  base.  Yacht Registry has been a Sabre Dealer for the past 15  years as well as representing various other  semi-custom built models ranging from 30’ to 66’.

This opportunity requires a  highly enthusiastic, energetic,  motivated and ambitious  individual who is looking to join a well-established firm on Florida’s West Coast. Yacht Marine Mechanic - Diversified Yacht Services, Inc.

Responsible for performing quality maintenance, repair and installations on all marine equipment, including smaller engines (sailboats & generators) as well as main propulsion engines on larger yachts.

Strong technical skills will be necessary to investigate, troubleshoot and diagnose all aspects of marine/yacht systems including, but not limited to:  running gear/cutlass bearings; engine alignment; steering systems; hydraulic/plumbing systems; shaft seals service/installations; general maintenance of yachts; bottom painting and coatings application as well as bilge cleaning; repowering and rigging; annual services, oil changes/impellers/heat exchangers.

You must be computer literate with reports and discoveries diagnostics, and also possess all necessary tools to perform the repairs and diagnostics. Some overtime, weekends and holiday work may be required.  Preference will be given to local candidates.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Three years job related marine repair facility or mobile marine repair experience and have advanced knowledge of marine engine troubleshooting, gas/diesel/outboard service and repair with little supervision
  • Experience with electrical and engine computer analysis
  • Electrical experience with the ability to use a voltage meter
  • Factory/technical training with certifications by one or more marine engine manufacturers is preferred

Yacht Painter Assistant - Diversified Yacht Services, Inc.

Responsible for full application of yacht coatings including fairing, metal prep, high build primer, longboarding, gel-coat color matching with multi-color theme as well as FRP laminates.  Kevlar is a plus.

The ideal candidate would have knowledge with all current safety regulations (OSHA), paint mixture, storing and the ability to understand advanced painting techniques. The ideal candidate would also have knowledge of marine coatings and systems application as well as the ability to direct a team of skilled and non-skilled employees to achieve the task from start to finish, along with following all factory specifications and instructions of paint coatings to achieve optimum results without rework, material wastage or loss of budgeted time.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • One year of boat painting within the last year
  • Must be knowledgeable with all current airless and/or conventional spray painting equipment, accessories and be able to work within a controlled environment and prep
  • Marine/Industrial Certification is helpful as well as experience estimating a simple repair and touch-up or full coating application

Marina Yard Worker - Diversified Yacht Services, Inc.

As our Marina Yard Worker you will be responsible for pressure washing, scraping and sanding bottoms of vessels along with assisting with the washing and drying of the customer’s vessels, including polishing isinglass, and waxing vessels by hand or with an electric polisher.  You may also clean the interior of vessels including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, steam-cleaning carpets and upholstery, and cleaning heads, galley, and the engine room.

The ideal candidate would have an overall knowledge of detailing products that are appropriate for use on boats and have the ability to identify needed parts and supplies and work with the parts department to obtain them.

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:

  • One year marina yard worker or boat detailing experience preferred
  • Experience working with fiberglass, gel-coat, and top side paint polishing, along with sanding and varnish experience is helpful
