Fishing should prove to be really good the first part of the month. The tides will be high, the water movement swift, creating a lot of oxygen and motivating the fish to eat. I predict that virtually all species will be active, especially after things settle from tropical storm Emily.

Speaking of Emily, I recently had the pleasure of taking the Mark Wolsefer family and friends from Clairmont, Florida fishing during their holiday on N. Captiva, I actually featured them in last weeks fishing report that included pictures of their group and some of the fish they caught. Unfortunately, I failed to mention their 15-year-old daughter, Emily! She is pictured here with a nice Pompano she landed during one of the adventures. Good going Emily! Hope to see you next year.

Another recent N. Captiva client, Mr. Justin Dillion of Winston-Salem, N. Carolina, is pictured with a 28” Snook he landed in the back country waters of Pine Island Sound, on a high tide. Justin is an avid fisherman and is familiar with Coastal Angler Magazine publications. We were joined by his friend J. P. The day was extra special since we have a lot in common with our love for fishing and the automotive business. I made sure to take some quality time to enjoy a couple of beers with the boys after the day on the water. Looking forward to doing it again on their return to SW Florida.

The Dan Blackman family from Virginia had an exceptional day this year when Tim, Tora and wife Tracy all caught Redfish. They are each Pictured with their catches. Great going guys and gals! The Blackman’s are yearly clients and this year was a real treat to have the opportunity to put them on Redfish during their annual stay on Sanibel. It was over three years since all factors worked together to get them on Redfish. Tora (Tim’s girlfriend) and his mother stole the show with two Redfish catches each. Tim is attending college in the St. Augustine area. Hope to see you all next year!
